The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality hires through innovative strategies, processes, and tools. This role involves strategic leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management to support the company's growth and talent needs.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Recruits, develops, and sustains a high-performing team while promoting a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and partnership across the organization. The leader will foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a forward-thinking, proactive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals.Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building trust, providing insights and guidance to make informed talent decisions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements, leverage data for insights, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.Technology & Tools: Implement and optimize recruitment technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Employer Branding: Strengthen the company's employer brand through strategic partnerships and targeted campaigns.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.Models Thrivent’s leadership competencies: Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes. Shapes and/or supports a culture that represents the Thrivent purpose, promise and values, ensuring that Thrivent’s trust and reputation remain strong with its clients.Required Job Qualifications8+ years of leadership experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.Strong understanding of talent markets and recruitment technologies enabling market insights.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Job Qualifications4+ years leading leaders is preferredExperience working in a Product Operating Model environment.
