UPMC Washington is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Director of Surgical & Perioperative Services. In partnership with the Vice President of Operations, this role will lead the delivery of exceptional patient care by analyzing and refining clinical and operational processes to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor surgical services leaders, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care that meets regulatory and accreditation standards. Oversee quality improvement, patient safety, and satisfaction initiatives, implementing changes as needed. Drive operational efficiency by analyzing processes, managing resources, and leading change efforts. Partner with physicians, staff, and stakeholders to achieve clinical, operational, and financial goals. Support staff development through orientation, education, and professional growth opportunities. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations aligned with strategic priorities.
