If you’re a Supply Chain professional, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position typically reports to the Vice President of Operations/Supply Chain within a business segment with primary responsibility for providing leadership and management for the external and internal supply base integration and performance as well as the materials processes. This leadership role directly contributes to the order fulfillment performance of the business group.
What You Will Be Doing
Leads and/or participates in the development of integrated supply chain strategies – aligning and harmonizing operations and supply base strategies to optimize supply of components to A&T – definition and execution of core/non-core strategiesDirect management of supplier management and materials functional groups – including development of staffing plans, budgets and personnel managementEnsures positive key supplier relationships and activities.Drive effective management of staff – developing leadership bench strength, etc..Manage results through metrics and objectives – discipline in execution.Accountable for the performance of the supply base (internal and external). Develops and deploys strategies and tactics to improve overall performance and integration of supply base to the A&T groups globally.Provide critical linkage between the business group and the various commodities within Global Sourcing to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives.Develops and deploys strategies to align supply base (internal and external) capacity with business outlook to ensure security of supply.Interfaces with the PLC process to drive supplier integration in concert with Global Sourcing.Maintains accountability for the design and execution of the materials planning process – adjusting models to fit a changing business environment while maintaining alignment with overall Woodward tools and processes.Develops and deploys strategies to support long-term A&T strategies – WLES, etc.Maintains management of inventory levels in accordance with segment goals and objectives.Drives performance of shipping locations outside of specific segment as applicable.What We Are Looking For
Education:
US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)Experience:
Minimum ten years experience in supply chain and materials management. Minimum of five years experience in leadership rolesThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
