Your Mission
BMG’s Global Commerce department is the connection between our artists and our Digital partners, building opportunities and partnerships that connect their music with fans and superfans – new and existing. As Director, Streaming US – Amazon Music, your role is pivotal in nurturing and managing the relationship between BMG US and Amazon Music. You are an expert in digital retailer platforms – especially Amazon Music – and operate with a deep understanding of the power of music in the digital space. You’ll work closely with BMG US repertoire owners to maximize success for our artists. You bring exceptional analytical and customer relationship management skills plus an eagerness to learn all aspects of the digital landscape as it relates to Amazon Music.
What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the lead relationship manager for Amazon Music outside of the Country genre in the US. Work closely with BMG US’s Recorded Music repertoire owners on priorities, artists and projects. Pitch artists and their music and deliver assets for both Editorial and Marketing opportunities. Create a weekly key streaming placement report for Artist Managers and Artist Career Specialists. Monitor release day placement, playlist/station adds and daily streaming metrics for priority tracks. Implement best practices for Amazon Music, including: Creative Metadata maximization, Hype Deck, Daily Voice Index, bio and press images. Collaborate closely with the Global Amazon Music squad on marketing initiatives in the US while partnering with other BMG divisions to align on marketing efforts and opportunities to create revenue. Keep the BMG US Recorded Music team updated on key news and emerging trends in the streaming space. Work closely with the Analytics team assess streaming performance and ensure our artists are positioned for success. Serve as an integral representative for the Amazon Music team in relevant internal and external meetings, contributing the US perspective to strategic discussions and ensuring effective communication across departments.
What You Bring
Demonstrated experience as a Streaming expert in the music industry with a strong background in Commerce and Digital Marketing. A track record of successfully building relationships with artists, artist managers, clients and internal teams. An exceptional sense of organization with a goal-oriented mindset. A creative approach to developing innovative ideas that drive forward targeted marketing campaigns. The ability to take initiative and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
What Would Be A Plus
Previous experience working with Amazon Music. Genuine passion for connecting fans with their favorite (or soon-to-be favorite) artists through storytelling. A strong grasp of AI technologies and their potential to maximize Streaming performance and Digital Marketing strategies.

Pay Range
$110,000 - $130,000 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
