The Director, Strategic Alliances position is responsible for driving pipeline and achieving quota bookings targets for NTT DATA Business Solutions (NDBS) by leveraging and developing new Partner and Alliance relationships.  

 

A successful candidate will have the following skills:

 

A well-established network in the SAP ecosystem, particularly with Sales leadership and account executivesEntrepreneurial in nature, requiring strategic guidance, but tactical execution is autonomousSAP ERP and Cloud Software Products Sales and Technology acumenStrong background on enablement of internal and external stakeholders to drive pipeline and revenue for assigned partner and alliances territoryCreative mindset to digital marketing and event planning to drive demand genConcrete understanding of SAP value propPresent and communicate SAP and NDBS value prop throughout the networkAbility to plan and create demand generation for the partner and alliances network as reciprocal lead flow

 

The candidate should be able to:

 

Function within a fast paced and entrepreneurial environmentAbility to increase mindshare and deal flow to and from Channel Partner communityInvest and provide creative ideation on how to increase partner productivityProvide impact and visibility to partner and alliance channel contribution to quarterly pipeline and bookingsEnable, train and present to partner and alliance community on targeted NDBS service and solution offeringsIdentify and develop strong relationships with non-existing, but desired partner and alliance targets

 

The successful candidate will join our Revenue Generation Group (RGG) and participate primarily in a US based role.  Opportunity for global collaboration required across the Americas (US, Canada, and Brazil), as well as our global NDBS network spanning 30+ countries across EMEA and APAC.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Enable and drive quarterly bookings within NDBS partner and alliances assigned territory across all Lines of Business (Software, Consulting, Application Management Services, and Managed Cloud)Drive a level of acute responsiveness in support of assigned partner sales cycles.  Support and guide the NDBS sales team through the sales process, work to resolve deal challenges, and overall network relationship.Create and develop partner specific sales and solutions decks (and other repeatable assets) to communicate and enable on NDBS services and solutions, and vice versa for partner network services and solutions that do not overlap NDBS capabilitiesPresent and articulate the NDBS value proposition to channel partners, and existing / prospective ClientsEstablish regular cadence within current partner network for results attainment and relationship building:  Pipeline, Education Opportunities, Joint Marketing Campaigns or EventsNew partner and alliance relationship development:Identify and expand Technology AdvisorsIdentify and expand Private Equity ChannelsIdentify and expand Software and Technology partners for Industry differentiation or to fill niche product or functional skills gapCreate unique go-to-market plans across partner and alliance network.Event participation, networking, speaking engagements as required.Execute and coordinate incentive programs and partner agreements (referral, resell, subcontract, NDA, MSA).Contribute and enhance our partner and alliance network recognition and visibility on internal and external sites.

 

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

 

5+ years in a similar Channel / Business Development roleExperience working with SAP, Hyperscalers, Private Equity, and Technology AdvisorsProven history of meeting and exceeding revenue and quota targetsProven understanding of ERP (SAP, Oracle) and surrounding SAP Cloud ProductsEstablished and proven SAP ecosystem networkBachelor’s degree, Business Administration, Marketing, or other related degree.Excellent oral and written skills.Appropriate attire required at all internal and external client site locations

The annual base compensation range for this role will be $140,000 - $232,384.  The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate’s skill set, certifications, and experience.
