Director, Strategic HR Business Partner – LATAM

Based in Mexico City, reporting to the Global AC HR Director, you will lead talent management, engagement, and organizational design for the regional Architectural Coatings business unit. As a member of the leadership team, you will partner with the regional AC VP to achieve our goals and enable HR Service Delivery with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Organization Development & Change:

Design and implement organizational structures aligned with strategy and efficiency goals.Lead change management initiatives and HR programs, ensuring measurable outcomes.Adapt HR models to support our priorities and strengthen company culture.

Workforce & Talent Planning:

Drive strategic workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and capability development.Ensure alignment of talent, succession, and retention strategies with business objectives and market competitiveness.Support teams while partnering on DEI and compliance initiatives.

Capability & Leadership Development:

Guide leaders in performance management and merit-based decision-making.Lead strategic hiring, executive onboarding, and talent assessments.Coach and influence leaders to inspire engagement, development, and behavioral change.

Commercial & Operational Excellence:

Partner with business leaders to optimize organizational performance, Sales Incentive Plans, and Commercial Excellence initiatives.Leverage understanding of business context (economic, social, labor trends) and P&L to inform HR strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; Master's preferred.Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.10+ years of strong HR experience in matrixed, international manufacturing and retail environments, including engineering and blue-collar operations covering business partnering, leadership development, organization design, recruitment, talent management, labor relations, and budgeting in regional or divisional HR leadership, contributing as an important member of complex, multinational organizations.Business partner with an approach, leading HR strategies and managing change during crises to ensure business continuity and employee well-being.International experience across Latin America, can navigate regional labor laws, cultures, and HR practices.
