Job Title: Director, State Government Sales

What You Will Do
As the Director of State Government Sales, you will lead a team of four remote Regional Sales Executives. Your role will be integral in driving sales of Trimble's Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions, including Enterprise Asset Management (AgileAssets/Cityworks), Digital Project Delivery (e-Builder), and our other software offerings to state government agencies.
Work collaboratively to lead Go To Market execution of new logo sales with state government agencies with particular focus on DOT’s
Drive double digit ARR sales growth for both new and existing business
Leverage your industry experience to identify market trends and opportunities for your team
Report pipeline and forecast progress to senior leadership with accuracy and accountability
Cultivate strong business relationships with partners
Ensure the team is proficient in presenting ALM Solutions and other Trimble technology
Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Support key accounts for sellers by attending onsite meetings, connecting with client executives and resolving escalations
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
7+ years of direct management experience within GovTech and/or Construction Tech
Verifiable track record of achievement as an enterprise SaaS seller
Experience selling or managing sales to construction owners strongly preferred
Solid knowledge of AECO industry and State government workflows in areas such as Maintenance & Operations, Permitting, Planning and Construction Project Management
Experience negotiating contracts with government agencies
Ability to think and act strategically as well as tactically
Resourceful leader not afraid to get their hands dirty and lead from the front
Enjoys the challenge of being a significant part of a growing, developing organization
Strong persuasion, reasoning, and negotiation skills
Effective time management, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
A high level of ethics, professionalism, and confidence
Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude and an extremely strong drive
Ability to travel nationally approximately 25-35% to attend customer meetings, trade shows and company events
Salary + variable 330k OTE +/-
