Job Description SummaryDevelop global sourcing and procurement strategies across Software which represent approximately $315M in spend at GE Healthcare. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal contractual terms while ensuring internal stakeholder satisfaction. Leverage industry knowledge and market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices. Build relationships with critical business stakeholders to ensure current and future business requirement met. Lead a team of 6 individuals and provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management to foster a high performing team environment.
Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesLead Global team and define Sourcing Category Strategy for $315M for SoftwareDemonstrate and lead cross functional collaboration, partnership and proactive business engagement with key stakeholders on sub-category strategy requirements and key initiativesResponsible for execution, monitoring, reporting and creating a plan for key priorities including: cost savings initiatives, AWT, supplier relationship management, contracting, risk mitigation, sustainability and creating improvement plans where neededDemonstrate knowledge in this category and clear understanding of key market dynamics and trends within these sub-categories and how that correlates to GE HealthCare and its landscapeConduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisionsLead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.Ability to lead cross functional projects and lead teams in complex decision making on important initiatives leading to desired outcomes.Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.Provide leadership and mentorship to team members or direct reports.Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
Required QualificationsFor roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Commodity Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience 10 years).For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
