Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Director, Segment Finance to work with an Oil & Gas Client in the Houston, TX area. This role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting operations, developing and implementing effective accounting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company’s strategic goals. What You'll Do Manage and optimize day-to-day accounting operations, operation processes, internal controls, including accounts payable, and accounts receivables.Develop, implement, and refine accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with financial planning and analysis teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Communicate financial information and insights to senior management and other stakeholders. What You Bring Experience in operational accounting and process improvement is highly desirableStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
