This role is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of sales enablement initiatives and programs that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales force. This includes the new business and customer retention teams as well as the partner base. The person in this role will be a strategic partner to the corporate leadership team, working closely with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, and sales operations to ensure alignment with the company’s business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, leadership, and enablement, with the ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable enablement strategies that drive sales performance and revenue growth. Further responsibilities include weekly reporting on key metrics for the marketing and executive leadership teams, management of budget associated with enablement spend, management of sales enablement events (Sales Kick-Off), facilitating the creation of sales-related content and managing the Sales Enablement team. This role will also own additional areas related to enablement, like our partner certification program. What You’ll Do:Develop and oversee the creation of high-impact sales enablement content, including playbooks, training content, and other resources that are aligned with the company’s messaging and positioning. Ensure that the sales team is fully trained and equipped with the knowledge and skills required to successfully execute the company’s chosen sales methodologies, such as MEDDICC. Manage the design, development, and implementation of sales enablement programs, including sales onboarding, ongoing training, sales coaching, and performance management. Establish sales enablement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and continuously assess and refine these programs to ensure they are delivering the desired business outcomes. Create the same enablement journey and experience for our database of 10k+ partners (both VARs and MSPs) to ensure they receive the same information and training as internal sales teams. Own and maintain the current sales enablement tech stack while staying up to date with the latest available technology, making recommendations for improvement based on findings. Lead and manage the sales enablement team, providing guidance, career development and mentorship to current and future team members. Run point on the ThreatDown annual Sales Kick-Off which includes managing the schedule, content and logistics.
