A master’s degree in a related field is preferred, and experience in telehealth, rural healthcare, or Medicaid programs is required._** **Position Purpose:** Director of Rural Health and Telehealth Services - Serve as the primary executive responsible for building relationships and processes to facilitate ongoing input from rural members, providers, CBOs and associations, specifically including those committed to elevating tribal voices, and improving the health of rural communities. Also, serve as the telehealth executive responsible for developing telehealth strategy and lead relevant health plan participation in telehealth activities. + Development of rural hospital and other strategic partners in relation to Centene’s rural hospital transformation opportunities + Program management for rural hospital transformation opportunities + Market intelligence and management of rural hospital opportunity pipeline + Rural hospital health policy tracker and recommendations + Coordination of Centene’s Rural Health Symposium and external events + Perform other duties as assigned **Education/Experience:** + Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. 10 years of related experience is required. + Knowledge and experience in the following areas is required: Rural hospital and health clinical operations, health policy, government relations, hospital partnership structures (eg management agreements, affiliation agreements, etc.) and rural health policy. + Knowledge and experience with payer-provider contracting is a plus. 3+ years of supervisor/management experience is required. + Up to 25% travel may be expected in this position, depending on the location and number of partnership opportunities in development.
