Reporting to the VP of RGM, the Director of RGM Savory is responsible for delivering profitable revenue growth strategies for the Savory business totaling $3+ Billion in annual gross sales. This includes core crackers, savory, munching, and on-the-go covering iconic brands such as Ritz™, Triscuit™, Wheat Thins™, Premium™ and Good Thins™. The Director of RGM focuses on developing a strong multi-year plan across all 5 RGM levers including pricing, PPA, promotion, trade, and mix management. RGM is critical function for Mondelez to enabling us to deliver our Vision 2030 and drive balanced share and profit.
Job Responsibilities
Develop multi-year, multi-lever, multi-channel RGM strategy for the business using a mix of all 5 RGM levers including pricing, promotion, PPA, trade and mix management to drive net price realization.
Set every day and promo pricing guidelines/requirements by brand, pack and channel including must win weeks and ppg prioritization.
Make recommended changes in list price, counts or weights by SKU.
Monitor competition, macroeconomic trends, and COGS pressure to adjust RGM strategy proactively.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on consumer, shopper, and customer insights in addition to category and competitive dynamics.
Work with cross-functional colleagues such as supply chain to understand feasibility, insights to understand positioning and then recommend architecture by channel.
Plan, execute and track commercial decisions such as pricing actions to deliver margin, growth, and price realization goals.
Partner with Brand Marketing and Category Planning teams to progress opportunities into our Innovation process, providing support through the process with an entrepreneurial mind set to tackle challenges and contribute to the end goal of commercialization setting pack price on innovation congruent with price ladders/curves and best practices.
Serve as the owner of pricing, PPA and promotion inputs into our End-to-End business planning process (EBP) to drive operational execution.
Support category leaders to deliver key KPIs such as market share, diagnosing weekly/monthly performance and adapting RGM plans to deliver KPIs.
Manage one direct report.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar required, Masters preferred
8-12 years of experience, preferably in the consumer goods industry
Prior experience in RGM/NRM or PPA a plus
Strong analytical skills and ability to uncover insights from multiple sources
The base salary range for this position is $141,000 to $246,750; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program.
