We are seeking an ambitious, experienced Director of Revenue Operations (ROPS) to lead revenue cycle operations for a portfolio of strategic business initiatives. This includes responsibility for a medium sized team of revenue cycle professionals.

Director of Revenue Cycle Responsibilities

Location: Brentwood, TN. In-state preferred but, remote will also be considered. This role is hybrid/remote with some in-office time required.

Travel: Some travel required (10%).

Operational Excellence: 

Own the health, growth and business results of a revenue cycle team supporting multiple lines of business which are collectively referred to as SBI’s (Strategic Business Initiatives)Maintain a culture of compliance and ensure adherence to all compliance requirementsIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen performance against key performance metrics and process controlsCollaborate across the village enterprise to drive results with key partnersAnticipate and proactively mitigate business risks

Establish short and long-term strategic plans based on multi-year objectivesAnalyze and understand complex problems and develop a robust approach to solveUse strengths, skills and experience to drive impact across a range of functions and disciplinesLeverage analytical and quantitative skills to advance our understanding of problems and opportunities

Stewardship for People and Teams:

Actively engage in the recruitment, hiring, and retention processes to build and maintain team strengthCoach, motivate and develop teammates through formal and informal feedback and development opportunities in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core ValuesAdhere to talent development guidelines and performance management processes

Executive Communication:

Synthesize critical analysis through oral and written communicationDirectly and concisely communicate ideas, insights, risks and recommendations to executive leadersPrepare for and facilitate executive-level presentations across various stakeholder groupsUse influence to advance quality decision making and maintain focus on the most important stuffPartner with other leaders to drive results across teams

Continuous Development

Maintain up to date knowledge of the various systems and support departments that directly impact revenue cycle operations Maintain a current industry knowledge of healthcare revenue operations issues and trends 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferredMinimum of ten (10) years of related experience requiredExperience implementing complex systems and technology solutions that span across multiple geographiesExperience with strategic planning and implementation of new initiativesDemonstrated ability to motivate others and lead large scale teams to execute enterprise goals.Strong knowledge and experienced practice with process improvement and project management methodologies, techniques, and processes

Salary/ Wage Range

$110,100.00 - $161,700.00 / year

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. • New York Exempt: • New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year • Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year • Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: • New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour • Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour • Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: • Bellingham: $17.66/hour • Burien: $21.16/hour • Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour • Renton: $20.90/hour • Seattle: $20.76/hour • Tukwila: $21.10/hour • Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
