We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Leader in Product Reliability to lead strategic initiatives that enhance the reliability, competitiveness, and speed of our product development for the APAC market. This role will shape and execute the China site’s reliability and validation strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives while addressing regional market dynamics.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in hardware validation and reliability engineering, a proven track record of senior leadership, and the ability to influence and collaborate across global and regional teams.
The role will report to Global Head of Product Reliability and Regional Management in China will report dotted line to role and solid line to their respective Global functional Leaders.
What You Will Do
Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the China site’s product reliability and validation roadmap in alignment with APAC market needs and global strategyMarket Insight & Innovation: Analyze market trends, customer expectations, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic directionCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global and regional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Product Management, to ensure seamless execution of reliability initiativesPerformance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and continuously refine approaches based on outcomes and market feedbackOperational Excellence: Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance validation efficiency, automation, and accuracy across the China siteOrganizational Development: Drive together with the regional Product Reliability Management the development of a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellenceExecutive Communication: Serve as a key liaison between the China site and global Product Reliability leadership, ensuring transparency, alignment, and strategic coherenceWhat You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in hardware C-Tier 1/C-OEM validation, reliability, or quality engineering, including executive-level rolesDeep understanding of automotive electronic hardware validation, including signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, mechanical, and reliability testingDemonstrated success in leading global teams within a multinational environmentStrong business acumen with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic decisionsFluent in EnglishBonus Points if You Have
Familiarity with regulatory standards (IEC, ISO, FCC, CE)Experience with AI-driven automation and statistical data analysisKnowledge of test automation frameworks and validation toolsGood insight qualification facilities/labs existing in ChinaWhat Makes You Eligible
