Your Work Matters

As a Quality Assurance Director, you’ll lead a team that owns the entire lifecycle of product quality—from early-stage testing and technical validation to customer-facing claims and risk reduction. This isn’t just about preventing product issues; it’s about shaping how over 1,000 products enter our stores each year and how they perform in customers’ homes for years to come. Your Day Consists Of

Managing the execution of QA programs like Prop 65 compliance, First Piece Inspection, and returns reduction strategiesCollaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Inventory, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to implement supplier quality systemsLeading supplier onboarding processes to ensure product compliance from the first shipment onwardDeveloping training content and SOPs that equip teams across the organization with quality-driven practicesPartnering with third-party labs and testing facilities to verify claims and mitigate riskMonitoring supplier performance and identifying opportunities to improve or correct quality gaps

You’ll Be Successful With

5+ years of relevant experience in supplier quality, technical auditing, or retail QA programsProficiency with statistical methods, product testing protocols, and tools like SPC, FMEA, or DFSSStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and globally—especially with international vendors and third partiesA talent for spotting problems before they grow, and proposing solutions that improve systems company-wideComfort with managing detailed data (Excel skills required), combined with strategic thinking and real-world applicationExperience onboarding new suppliers and ensuring documentation, testing, and inspection readiness
