Within Services, the Business and Market Insights (BMI) team is focused on delivering scalable products powered by data and analytics—helping clients make smarter decisions, optimize strategies, and unlock growth. BMI spans a broad portfolio of offerings including analytics, predictive insights, business experimentation, platforms, and Payment Consulting & Innovation.

We are seeking a Director, Commercialization lead, Asia Pacific to oversee sales enablement, go-to-market strategies and the commercialization of key BMI services and platforms.

This role acts as a vital conduit between Product and Services Business Leads/ Account Managers, crafting scalable sales strategies, business models, and segment narratives that drive customer value and Mastercard’s revenue growth. Reporting into the Regional BMI Product Lead, the Director will ensure the enablement of our key stakeholders to deliver and accelerate BMI revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Growth: Lead the expansion of the BMI business across AP by aligning sales strategies with customer and market needs.
• Identify new product verticals: Work within and outside Mastercard ecosystem to identify, test and scale new products, partnerships and GTM models
• Tailored Product Narratives: Customize product messaging for diverse customer segments.
• Sales Plays: Partner with Product Management and Sales Teams to design and execute impactful sales disciplines.
• Innovative Constructs: Develop and execute creative go-to-market frameworks, including Cash Conversion, Pay-for-Performance (P4P), and Conversion Assurance models.
• Customer Engagement: Work closely with Sales to understand and embed customer needs into solutions, meeting directly with clients when necessary.
• Enablement Materials: Collaborate with Marketing to produce compelling sales tools and resources.
• Market Intelligence: Analyze and understand competing solutions and market trends to position Mastercard’s offerings effectively.

About You
• Proven experience as a sales or client services leader with a demonstrated ability to drive growth.
• Ideally, looking for an experienced consultant from a top tier consulting firm or experience analytics product manager from a reputable analytics / AI company
• Extensive experience launching and scaling products in dynamic markets.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to craft compelling, customer-tailored narratives.
• Skilled in influencing and motivating teams, with a vision for unifying sales stakeholders around strategic goals.
• Expertise in developing go-to-market strategies and sales enablement plans.
• Recognized as a senior subject matter expert capable of navigating complex deals and engaging with executive-level clients.
• Deep understanding of consumer, industry, and market trends.
• Creative problem solver with the ability to generate “out of the box” solutions and build alignment across diverse teams.
• Growth-oriented and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.
• International and matrixed organizational experience is highly desirable.
• Exceptional networking, communication, and storytelling skills, with a strong focus on results and urgency.
