Director, Product Marketing
**Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **Director of Product Marketing** to lead a high-performing team of over 10 product marketers. This individual will own part of the overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution across our Tax & Accounting software portfolio in North America. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Revenue Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to drive growth, customer adoption, and market leadership. **Key Responsibilities** + **Lead and develop a team** of product marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture. + **Own strategy** for new product launches, feature enhancements, and market expansions. Ensure alignment across Product, Sales, and Marketing functions. + Define **positioning, messaging, and value propositions** that resonate with customer segments and reflect our differentiated value. + Partner closely with **Product Management** to shape roadmap priorities based on market insights and customer feedback. + Collaborate with **Revenue Marketing** and **Sales Enablement** to develop compelling campaigns, content, and enablement tools that drive pipeline growth and conversion. + Act as a **customer and market advocate** , leveraging research, competitive insights, and buyer personas to inform strategy and product-market fit. + **Track and report** on product marketing effectiveness and optimize programs to achieve adoption, retention, and growth goals. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA a plus. + 12+ years of experience in **B2B software marketing** , with 7+ years in **product marketing leadership** roles. + Direct people management experience, required + Proven track record of building and leading high-performing product marketing teams. + Demonstrable experience developing and executing GTM strategy, segmentation, messaging, and competitive analysis. + Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and thrive in a matrixed environment. + Deep understanding of the software buying cycle, ideally in regulated or complex industries (Tax, Accounting, Legal, or Financial Services a plus). + Marketing tech knowledge - Salesforce, Pardot, DemandBase, preferred + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong executive presence/ability to communicate effectively with leadership **Travel Expectations** 20% **Why Wolters Kluwer?** Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information, software solutions, and services for the healthcare, tax and accounting, financial and legal sectors.
