Director, Product ManagementOverview:Mastercard develops and delivers world-class risk, security products and services for its customers As a Director of Product Management in the Security Solutions organization, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of innovative security products that enhance payment resiliency and combat financial crimes across the North America region. You will join a high-performing, forward-thinking team that partners closely with global product leads and cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Account Management.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and resilient payment solutions.
Role:
•\tDefine and drive the North America product strategy for payment security and fraud mitigation, aligned with global objectives and regional market needs.
•\tLead end-to-end product lifecycle management—from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch optimization.
•\tCollaborate with global product teams to ensure regional alignment and influence global roadmaps with North America-specific insights.
•\tPartner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Account Management to ensure product readiness, compliance, and go-to-market success.
•\tMonitor market trends, customer feedback, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
•\tRepresent the Security Solutions team in executive forums, customer engagements, and industry events.
•\tMentor and develop junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
All About You:
Qualifications:
•\t10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in payments, security, or fraud prevention.
•\tProven track record of launching successful B2B or B2B2C products in regulated industries.
•\tStrong understanding of payment ecosystems, financial crime typologies, and resiliency frameworks.
•\tExceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across global and regional teams.
•\tAnalytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
•\tBachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
