We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director, Product Management – Data Platforms to lead the transformation of our strategy for data management within Patents in Belgrade. Lead the definition of a compelling product strategy for the team, aligning and inspiring the teams and organization to execute the strategy. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and AI to lead and direct teams to drive significant market impact for the organization.

What will you be doing in this role? ​

Support the product leadership to envision future versions of the product organization. 

Structure teams to create the necessary balance of product management resources to drive impact and deliver against agreed outcomes. 

Communicate clearly and effectively, in writing or when presenting, to large and internal and external high-stakes audiences, including segment leadership. 

Spot talent accurately and make robust hiring decisions. Anticipate flight risks and put action plans in place to help retain top talent. 

Understand and investigate the commercial levers that affect your area of responsibility and how they ladder up to overall Clarivate commercial performance. 

Define metrics for your group / teams to ensure business impact and determine priorities when there are competing strategic asks.

Create / clarify product strategy within ambiguous areas with limited guidance. 

Create relationships and trust with a broad range of senior stakeholders across the business (PMs, managers, and cross-functional leaders). 

 

About the Team  

You will have 2-3 direct reports and build the product team going forward as per business needs. You will be reporting to Vice President, Product Management.

The team is responsible for identifying and tracking customer needs and appropriate product solutions, then plan, lead and track all phases of the product life cycle, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product content is delivered successfully.

Hours of work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
