**Opportunity**
The Director – Product Management is the senior product management leader responsible for creating strategic plans that deliver innovation and product leadership that delights customers and delivers long-term market share and financial objectives for the category. The Director – Product Management will lead a team of individuals that manage the lifecycle of a large product portfolio from ideation to launch and through to discontinuation. The product management team manages the product strategy, conducts market research, identifies user needs, and creates a roadmap for the products. This role is responsible for leading and working with cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and monitor their respective products and performance.
**Specific Responsibilities**
+ Develop deep category level insights inclusive of market and consumer intelligence.Understand key decision maker needs, pain points and behaviors.Continuously monitor market trends and technological insights.
+ Own product strategies and multi-generational product roadmaps informed by customer and market intelligence and aligned with business objectives.
+ Create a winning portfolio with defined product leadership attributes for each category and brand
+ Cultivate a team culture that fuels cross-functional innovation and transformative category disruption.
+ Manage the product portfolio to deliver superior economics.
+ Provide clear definition for new product requirements including functional and emotional benefits, pricing strategy, launch timing, and quality.
+ Attend trade shows, seminars and other industry events as necessary to stay abreast of market, supplier and and industry trends.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and accountability within the team
+ Lead and mentor a team of product managers to ensure their success.
**Skills/Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Finance or related field. MBA or related degree is preferred.
+ 10 or more years of related experience required with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results.
+ Minimum 5 years experience with P&L and/or budget management is preferred.
+ Approximately 15% travel is required.

_The salary range for this position is $183,600 - $239,250. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k._
