Danfoss Commercial Compressors is seeking a Director, Product Line Controlling to provide strategic financial leadership for a fast-growing, international business. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving performance management, ensuring financial integrity, and shaping strategic decisions that impact growth and profitability.
As a core member of the business unit leadership team, you will serve as the trusted financial partner across all functions, combing deep financial expertise with strong business acumen to support both operational excellence and long-term strategy.
This is a fully onsite role at our Global Headquarters for Danfoss Turbocor Compressors in Tallahassee, Florida.
What You’ll Be DoingFinancial Leadership and Business Partnership
• Serve as a trusted finance partner to BU leadership, contributing to strategic planning, resource allocation and investment decisions
• Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and perspective planning process
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights to support commercial, operational and innovation strategie
Performance management & reporting
• Ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting
• Analyze performance trends, risks and opportunities across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Drive performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with Operations, R&D, quality, procurement and sales team
Controlling & Governance
• Oversea financial control frameworks across multiple global manufacturing sites
• Lead a team of factory controllers, ensuring consistency and compliance with group policies, internal controls and local financial practice
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach and develop a geographically diverse controlling team
• Forster a high-performance culture and support continuous development
• Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Over 10 years of experience in finance and controlling, predominantly in managerial positions, within global manufacturing companies
• Proven leadership experience managing multicultural, multi-site finance teams
• Curiosity and a strong orientation towards business partnership, with the ability to support key stakeholders in decision-marking, understanding the operational context, and translating financial data into concrete, sustainable actions aligned with business objectives
• Strong analytical, empathetic, adaptable, and proactive communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
