About the role

Director, Product Innovation, Global Projects is responsible to lead & deliver a global innovation program of coating, filling & beverages. This person will manage a team of product experts to execute and deliver global innovation projects. This person will also manage application labs in the Global Innovation Center @ Singapore.

 

Key responsiilities include

Lead global innovation program on coating, filling & beverage (30%)

Formulate the strategy of global innovation program on coating, filling & beverage to drive the business growth in this category Engage the leadership team in business and functions to gain the required support on global innovation program Plan and manage required resources to deliver the innovation program

Manage a team to deliver global projects (50%)

Manage a team of product experts to deliver global innovation projects on time in full Engage cross-region and cross-functional teams to provide required support to deliver the global projects Plan and manage required resources to deliver the innovation projects

Manage application labs in Global Innovation Center @ Singapore (20%)

Manage operations in Global Innovation Center @ Singapore Plan and manage required resources to run Global Innovation Center @ Singapore

Able to travel a minimum of 20% of the time

 

About you 

Master or PhD degree level in a Science or Engineering discipline, or equivalent, preferably in Food Science & Technology Minimal 12 years of experience in a relevant role, and minimal 6 years of experience in a leadership role. Fluent in English. A second language is a plus. An experienced product expert in cocoa based coating, filling and/or beverage category, with good knowledge of product application, formulation, processing and ingredients. Good business acumen in markets across the global, or minimum in a specific region (AMEA, WEU, CEE, NAM, LATAM). Good understanding of consumer and customer centric design of product innovation in a B2B business environment. Experience in Food CPG or Retailer product innovation is a bonus.
