Job Description:

The Global Markets Platform Group is looking for an individual to take responsibility to manage particular product and platform priorities for Global Markets Prime Financing & Swaps. The role will focus on technical Product Management requiring proficiency in Prime Financing, Swaps and Delta One trading to manage product and platform deliveries across a range of functions including Swap and Financing lifecycle, Pricing, Margining, Risk Management, Client Reporting, Collateral and Asset Servicing.

The role requires Prime Financing experience and the candidate to be deeply familiar with the end to end lifecycle of products and flows across all business units; including Cash Equities, Repo, Bonds, OTC Derivatives, Swaps, Rates, Commods, FX as well as possessing industry experience and knowledge of key products and offerings.

This further entails having a deep understanding of the markets, clients, technologies and products associated with these products and functions. The successful candidate will be a core subject matter expert and a critical pillar in driving business and technology strategy, implementing best in class technology solutions and helping deliver meaningful change across the Global Markets infrastructure.  

Role:

Define Product & Platform strategy in close collaboration with Global Markets leadership, Technology and associated support functionsDefine detailed design requirements and architectural strategy in conjunction with critical support partners. e.g. Technology, Sales & Trading, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Risk Management,  etc.Manage and govern key Global Markets investment initiativesDrive detailed analysis of priority products and platforms, clients and markets to establish product baselines, peer insights and commercial opportunitiesEstablish coherent, well defined business cases and technology roadmapsBe an active participant in discussions and influence decisions around the end to end lifecycle and the strategic technology architecture across Global MarketsWork closely with Technology and Product partners to maintain oversight of our investments, progress and adherence with regulatory obligations

Responsibilities

Own and drive Platform strategy for Global Markets Prime Financing functions;Define and document business opportunities, pitch investment cases and build forward looking technical roadmapsDocument requirements and ensure product delivery aligns to user requirements and architectural strategyMeasure product baselines and define KPIs, SLOs, SLAs and other target metricsExplore industry, client and competitor trends to ensure product remains relevant and forward lookingEnsure the ongoing delivery of critical product as follows:Robust governance and management of core investments and prioritiesWork and collaborate with IT and Support partnersInfluence and shape future investment and design decisions in conjunction with management and business leads

Required Qualifications:

Technology and Prime Financing background with strong understanding of Cash Equities, Repo, Bonds, OTC Derivatives, Swaps, Rates, Commods and FX lifecycleHighly familiar with prime financing functions and workflows with a data driven and automation first mindsetExperience delivering and driving technical solutions for Swap and Financing lifecycle, Pricing, Margining, Risk Management, Client Reporting, Collateral and Asset Servicing functionsComfortable managing diverse stakeholders and challenging status quo and current design principalsExcellent communicator able to traverse from granular developer level interactions up to senior leadershipStrong team work and ability to collaborate with othersExcellent problem solver with an ability to work independently and comfortable working in a fluid environment with shifting prioritiesHighly motivated and strong desire to learn business and new technologies

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with managing operational or system riskSome coding/scripting experience (with knowledge of best practices) in Java/Python preferredFINRA Series 7 and 63 registeredProduct Management certifications/Experience
