Job Purpose:
Our Senior Director of Pricing Strategy & Execution will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of pricing and cost governance initiatives across our business. In this highly visible role, you will drive strategic pricing programs that improve margin, support revenue growth, and enable scalable execution across a complex, decentralized commercial organization. This leader owns enterprise cost management and governance, ensuring consistent processes and controls for cost visibility, decision-making, and alignment with pricing strategies.Job Responsibilities:
● Own enterprise pricing strategy and execution to support revenue growth, margin expansion, and competitiveness across diverse market segments.● Lead cost management and governance efforts, including consistent processes for cost transparency, alignment between sourcing and pricing, and effective escalation and approval workflows.
● Develop customer- and segment-specific pricing strategies in partnership with Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Supply Chain.
● Partner closely with the analytics team to design pricing models, track performance, and identify opportunities to improve deal economics and profitability.
● Design and lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of pricing tools and systems, ensuring they align with business needs and enable strong adoption.
● Oversee end-to-end enablement of pricing systems, including design, rollout, training, adoption, and continuous improvement.
● Serve as the pricing and cost change agent, leading cross-functional collaboration, alignment, and communication to drive adoption across the commercial organization.
● Establish and manage pricing and cost governance frameworks, ensuring scalable, consistent decision-making processes across the enterprise.
● Support strategic deal structures, pricing escalations, and customer negotiations, serving as a key thought partner to Sales and senior leadership.
● Measure and report on pricing and cost performance, including KPIs, margin trends, and ROI on key initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
You will partner closely with a best-in-class analytics function to develop actionable insights, margin improvement strategies, and scalable pricing practices. The ideal candidate brings deep pricing expertise, commercial acumen, and a proven track record of leading change in fast-moving, distributed organizations.
● 12+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, pricing, commercial excellence, or related fields, with at least 3–5 years in pricing-specific roles.
● Experience in B2B distribution, packaging, manufacturing, or industrial sectors strongly preferred.
● Demonstrated success leading large-scale initiatives in decentralized or matrixed organizations.
● Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
● Proven ability to lead and manage pricing and cost governance structures, process design, and performance tracking.
● Experience selecting, implementing, and managing pricing tools or platforms (e.g., Vendavo, PriceFX, Periscope, PROS, Zilliant, Salesforce CPQ).
● Skilled communicator with a passion for coaching, enablement, and continuous improvement.
Work Experience:
● 10-15 years of related experience of successful management or supervisory experience within a large or national organization strongly preferred.● 10-15 years of related job experience.Education:
