**Overview**
Our team is looking for a high-performing Director, Platforms who will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and on-going support of a data driven software platform and dashboards published on a Tableau Server platform.
**Responsibilities**
+ Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions
+ Collaborate with frontend engineers to design or modify schema for optimal software performance
+ Advanced database administration and development including stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers and ETL packages as well as security and roles
+ Uphold quality standards and create monitoring tools to ensure high fidelity data
+ Optimization and tuning of existing stored procedures to improve performance
+ Troubleshoot database issues, identify root causes, and implement optimal solutions
+ Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources using languages and tools such as Python and AWS Glue
+ Design, Build, Test, Debug, Monitor, and Troubleshoot ETL and software processes in Python
+ Recommend solutions to existing or anticipated issues
+ Custom Design, build, test and publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server
+ Design, build, test, debug, monitor, and troubleshoot published data sources and extracts on Tableau Server
+ Advanced Tableau Server site administration including user/group security and roles, and managing project and data source security
+ Analyze ambiguous business requirements and partner with product team to provide a strategic solution
+ Have the confidence to work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas
+ Reviewing and improving existing solutions and collaborating with teams to integrate new solutions
+ Recommend solutions to existing or anticipated issues
+ Serve as an escalation point for any issues that may arise
+ Ability to follow implementation standards, develop documentation and transfer of knowledge
**Qualifications**
+ 7+ years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau
+ Media Agency experience preferred
+ Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks.
+ High competency level in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel (knowledge of VBA a plus) and PowerPoint
+ Adheres to deadlines
+ Advanced SQL programming skills, Redshift preferred (creating views, stored procedures, functions, etc.)
+ Excellent data modelling skills and experience working with large data sets.
+ Proficient in leading web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
+ Experience with digital media measurement and analytics
+ Experience with machine learning principles and applications a plus
+ Experience with Python and thorough understanding of a variety of APIs is a plus
+ Possession of excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
+ Proven experience managing or mentoring a team.

Compensation Range: $132,715 - $181,600 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
