The Director, Organizational Psychology & Effectiveness will lead our efforts in shaping a thriving workplace culture, optimizing human behavior, driving organizational effectiveness and developing robust competency and assessment frameworks. You'll have…
Ph. D. in I/O Psychology, Org Behavior, or a closely related field Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in I/O Psychology roles within corporate, in- house environments Demonstrated experience applying psychological principles to drive organizational culture, enhance employee behavior, develop competency models, and design valid assessment tools – with proven ability to link these efforts to desired organizational behaviors/culture. Strong proficiency in quantitative research methods, advanced statistical analysis, and data interpretations.Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and translation complex scientific concepts into practice, business-relevant strategies and solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in a complex, global automotive or manufacturing organization. Certification in relevant psychological assessments (e.g., Hogan, SHL, Saville). What you'll do…
Oversee the design, validation, implementation of organizational competency frameworks that explicitly integrate and measure proficiency in behavioral & leadership expectations – eventually integrating them into different talent management programs (Ex: Performance Management). Lead the development, validation, and deployment of selection assessments, surveys, and psychometric tools for talent acquisition, promotion, and development, specifically designed to identify and assess candidates' potential to embody and drive behavioral and leadership expectations. Design & integrate diagnostic tools with People Analytics to assess cultural transformation effectiveness. Analyze data to track impact, inform strategic decision-making, and maintain external benchmarking. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, HR Business Partners, other HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams on all matters related to organizational effectiveness, talent, and people strategy, incorporating OE principles into HR Programs and building capability across the HR team to support the deployment of Ford’s culture transformation roadmap.
