Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Director of Paid Social to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across Gen Digital’s brand portfolio. This role is critical to driving customer acquisition, engagement, and growth across global markets, leveraging our strength in cybersecurity and identity protection.

This leader will not only scale performance but harness AI and automation to dramatically improve speed, reduce manual effort, and reinvent how paid social is executed. You will build and mentor a high-performing team that tests boldly, moves fast, and continuously finds new ways to unlock growth through smart data and AI-driven workflows.

This is a role for a senior leader with the confidence and credibility to break down silos, challenge legacy processes, and champion a culture of curiosity and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and implement innovative paid social strategies that maximize business growth while leveraging AI tools to automate workflows and accelerate speed to market.Identify and deploy AI-powered solutions for campaign build, asset production, targeting, bidding, and real-time optimization.Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that champions experimentation and continuous learning.Own performance KPIs for paid social channels, analyzing campaign data to identify trends, optimize ROI, and scale winning tactics.Implement rigorous testing plans and A/B frameworks to drive creative and audience innovation.Manage multi-million-dollar paid social budgets across brands and markets.Ensure optimal allocation of spend to deliver efficiency, scalability, and growth.Partner with brand marketing, creative, analytics, and global market teams to ensure alignment on messaging, creative execution, and audience strategy.Champion integration with broader DTC/GTM strategies to maximize synergy.Stay ahead of evolving social platform capabilities, AI advancements, algorithm changes, and consumer trends.Identify new opportunities to test emerging channels and creative formats.Deliver regular, actionable performance reporting to stakeholders.Translate complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.Build strong partnerships with key external partners like Meta, TikTok to gain early access to new tools and betas.Serve as an internal advocate for best-in-class paid social practices.Lead, inspire, and develop a team of paid social specialists who thrive on curiosity and rapid experimentation.

Qualifications:10+ years of experience in social media marketing, with deep expertise in paid social and a track record of delivering measurable growth at scale.Proven track record in a senior leadership role driving global paid social strategy for large-scale, multi-brand organizations and experience with AI tools and automation to streamline processes, boost productivity, and enhance campaign performance. Demonstrated success managing international paid campaigns and local market nuances.Strong strategic thinker with experimental mindset and deep understanding of social algorithms, platform best practices, and performance marketing principles. Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.Excellent communication skills; able to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams.Experience managing large budgets and delivering strong ROI.Passion for staying ahead of digital marketing trends, AI-driven marketing, and creative experimentation.
