Job Description:

Responsible for risk management and trading activities with limited direction from more senior staff. Strong knowledge of regional demand balances, understanding of risk management, hedging and trading strategies, as well as ability to work with internal and external partners.

Works independently and is responsible for risk management and trading activitiesManage Northeast gas exposures; physical and financial within defined trading limitsResponsible for regional trading / market views.Executes transactions in accordance with established trading strategies and risk parametersContributes to the formulation of long-term strategies used for desk, sales, and origination market viewsMay be needed to provide technical and product support to more junior associates

Required skills:

Strong knowledge of risk management, hedging and trading strategies as well as market characteristicsHas a thorough knowledge of product area including market liquidity and volatility, pricing, and trading/hedging strategies of the Eastern natural gas marketsUnderstanding of physical marketsFive years of Eastern natural gas market experience required
