Director, Network Services and Offices

The Director of Network Services and Offices is responsible for a number elements within the Network Team, and reports to the VP of Network Solutions. While some of the services listed above are global in nature, some are regional.  This person will lead our efforts related to the following: 

Network Services: responsible for DNS, DHCP, NTP, and IP Address Management (IPAM). Additionally, this position will be responsible for Network Access Control (NAC) for both wired and wireless user networks.  This includes Radius and TACACS.  This position is also responsible for Netskope proxy and Remote Access VPN.

Offices: responsible for the wired and wireless networking at Equifax, including the direct engineering team for the US.  This team will collaborate and maintain strong relationships with international network players.  In addition to the network services listed above, this includes switches, routers, SD-WAN, firewalls, data circuits and network cabling–in addition to any tangential properties such as power PDUs, racks, and more. 

Call Centers:  responsible for network availability of internal (badged) and external (BPO) call center solutions.  This may include enhanced standards for sites related to call centers.  This position will need to develop and maintain close relationships with the VDI team, call center management teams, EWS/USIS business units, and other stakeholders.

This position will be based in Alpharetta, GA. This resource should be local to Atlanta and will be required to work from our Alpharetta location.

Equifax has a hybrid work schedule. Weekly expectations include: Onsite weekly (each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) & Remote weekly (every Monday and Friday)

This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support


What you will do

Work with regional network teams and stakeholders to develop global standards around campus networks

Work with regional network teams, stakeholders, and US network team to develop standards around various network services, such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, NAC, IPAM, RAVPN and more.

Develop and deploy a regional network services portfolio

Standardize on global network financing

Drive bottoms-up improvements for Network Architecture & Engineering design, Implementation, documentation and 3rd level support

Lead the development of innovative network engineering processes and tools from concept to delivery with a focus on new technologies, particularly Cloud (GCP, & AWS), SDN and automation

Provide leadership to manage demands from projects and technology upgrades including recommendations for vendor tools/solutions and global alignment of networks.

Mentor, manage and motivate a high-performing team of senior professionals and set clear priorities to achieve department goals and KPIs.

Support adoption of new technologies and tools, recommend capability improvements to network engineering, and assist in lab/ QA deployments for technology trials.

Ensure that information security and risk management are embedded within the culture requiring continuous improvement to a complex set of functions to coordinate security and compliance risks related to information systems and assets.

Drive coordination, consensus and execution to mitigate cyber risk issues and emerging threats 

Direct the continuous and secure design and maintenance of the corporate , data center, and cloud networking infrastructure, including network security and Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Plans.

Assist in the development of a strategic roadmap to ensure network engineering and operations goals are met.

Ensure service level targets are met, and address all service-level complaints.

Participate in disaster recovery/business continuity activities, as needed.

What experience you need 

Minimum of 7 years of professional networking experience across Engineering and Operations

Minimum of 7 years experience successfully managing vendor relationships and contract negotiation

Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in recommending, implementing, maintaining, state of the art network hardware and software systems

Minimum of 5 years experience supporting large network and infrastructure environments and organizations (1000 employee minimum)

Minimal of 3 years experience leading Cloud deployments and transformation (AWS and / or GCP highly preferred)

Must have strong experience managing DNS and DHCP

Must be open to minimal travel (International & Domestic) - likely around 10% throughout the year

What could set you apart

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or other related fields preferred (required work experience considered with out)

Familiarity with and/or current skills in Active Directory highly preferred

Previous campus network experience

Recent experience operating/administrating infoblox

Previous SD-WAN experience

Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
