**Overview**
The Director of Multicultural Investment is a collaborative leader who prioritizes inclusive and multicultural media buying practices. They contribute to developing impactful and business-focused media plans for our client. You’ll aid the team in navigating the diverse-owned media landscape, and creating inclusive media initiatives to drive business growth.
In this role, you’ll effectively leverage culture-first experiences, knowledge, industry relationships, and media skills to push fresh thinking while balancing client, agency, and team needs. You’ll aid in building client and marketplace relationships and ensure effective investment allocations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Guide our client and internal teams in reaching diverse consumers, navigating the diverse-owned, targeted media landscape, and creating inclusive media initiatives to drive business growth.
+ Aid in building the strategic agenda as it relates to investment across the diverse ecosystem in digital, social, print, OOH, custom content programs, and emerging media channels
+ Leverage multicultural and mass marketplace knowledge to deliver high-value media opportunities with compelling value proposition and competitive advantage across the diverse media landscape
+ Build and maintain partnerships and relationships internally and externally within the multicultural digital and traditional space.
+ Collaborates with the broader team, helping bring more tactical-level expertise in the execution of multicultural investment strategies, partner considerations, stewardship, and reporting/analytics.
+ Supports development of and identifies key roles for diverse consumers, diverse-reaching and diverse-owned media partners, and targeting tactics.
+ Partners with investment teams to ensure that the diverse consumer strategies are implemented in the marketplace.
+ Assists in the development of client-facing well-rounded presentations & recommendations.
+ Stays current on industry developments, macro and consumer trends, technology, and cultural movements.
**Qualifications**
+ 8+ years of experience focusing on culture-first media buying and planning strategies across Hispanic/Latino, African American/Black, Pacific-Islander, LGBTQ+ Strong digital background inclusive of DSPs, DMPs, Mobile, OLV, etc.
+ Solid understanding of digital planning and activation tools (e.g., ComScore, PRISMA, Doubleclick)
+ Proven experience and success in presenting plans to senior clients
+ Adept at injecting ideas, innovation and leading industry developments into planning assignments.
+ Demonstrates an ability to be curious and passionate about our client’s business, getting ahead of category and industry trends with an informed POV.
+ Strong relationships with diverse-owned, diverse-reaching, and general media partners.
+ Meticulous and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
+ Ability to translate numbers into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables.
+ Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, Kantar, IMS, R/F and optimization software, social tracking tools, comcore, Prisma, GWI. Must understand its capabilities and applications.

Compensation Range: $119,510 - $163,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
