**Your New Role**
As the Director of Merchandising for Latin America, you will serve as a strategic leader and cross-functional collaborator within the broader Latin America Marketing Experience team. You will be at the forefront of connecting passionate fans with the world-class content experience on Max, ensuring our platform delivers a personalized, engaging, and high-impact user journey.
In this highly visible role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our homepage merchandising initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Creative Design, Sports, and Product to optimize content discovery and audience engagement. Your leadership will fuel data-informed decision-making, champion experimentation at scale, and unlock performance-driven merchandising tactics that elevate the user experience across the region.
This is a pivotal and dynamic opportunity to shape the international trajectory of Max, delivering best-in-class streaming experiences to diverse audiences across Latin America.
**Your Role Accountabilities**
+ Architect and continually refine the homepage merchandising strategy for Max, with a focus on driving audience engagement, content discoverability, and viewership across 39 diverse markets in Latin America.
+ Lead end-to-end experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and MAB testing to accelerate learning cycles and unlock scalable merchandising wins.
+ Manage and empower a high performing team of regional experts fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and localized excellence.
+ Identify and search for opportunities to enhance curation strategy through use of personalization and automation.
+ Guides and reports on Homepage performance and insights across all regions. Utilize data for continuous improvements and effectively communicate the process or results of your analyses cross-functionally.
+ Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution across platforms and devices while balancing content and Sports priorities.
+ Attentive to industry news and possess ability to quickly pivot strategy as needed.
+ Collaborate closely with Creative and Marketing teams so merchandising efforts seamlessly integrate with broader campaign narratives and brand storytelling.
+ Leverage partnerships with Data & Insights teams to extract critical performance analytics and uncover behavior trends that inform decision-making at strategic and tactical levels.
+ Champion and execute high-impact, cross-functional initiatives designed to improve core business KPIs—especially user retention, time spent, and engagement across all audience segments.
+ Uphold and amplify our brand identity through all merchandising efforts.
**Qualifications & Experiences**
+ 7-10 or more years’ relevant experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or creative/content related field
+ Experience with experimentation frameworks and data analysis.
+ Process oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously to under a broader editorial strategy.
+ Strong understanding of the Latin American market, SVOD, and direct to consumer.
+ A love of television, movies, sports and social media, as well as a passion for staying on top of industry trends.
+ Detail oriented. Passionate about getting Ts crossed and Is dotted. Must have a strong sense of ownership of the choices put in front of our customers.
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation skills and proven ability to work across regions and varying time zones.
+ Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities; candidate must be able to create their own direction yet balance cross functional teams’ needs, reacting quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.
+ Fluent written and spoken English AND Spanish or Portuguese is a prerequisite
