Job Purpose
The Menu Strategy and Development Director is responsible for leading the development, optimization, and execution of the menu strategy across assigned platforms. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that menu offerings align with brand identity, guest preferences, and market trends.

Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:
Platform Ownership and Management:
Lead the strategy, inception, validation, launch, and lifecycle management of key individual platforms.Ensure platforms align with company goals and deliver value to stakeholders.Define Growth Strategies:
Growth Focus: Define strategies to drive growth across guest segments, product categories, value offerings, and dayparts.Customer Focus: Increase frequency of existing customers and attract new customers.Market Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of competitive categories and strategic positioning.Oversight and Support:
Provide guidance and support to managers, ensuring they have the resources and direction needed to succeed.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Continuously monitor platform performance, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.Opportunity Identification and Execution:
Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and new initiatives.Provide actionable recommendations and lead the execution of approved projects.Talent Development:
Develop a talent bench, preparing high-potential team members for growth into Director-level roles.Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional development.Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Qualifications include:
Located in the Boston Metro Area – hybrid model with 3 days/week in the Newton, MA officeBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.8+ years of proven experience in marketing strategy, menu/product development, and cross-functional team collaborationPreference for past experience in the food service and/or consumer goods industries.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Creative thinking and a passion for food trends and innovation.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions
