The role is responsible for leading large transformational improvements of personalized client engagements. This includes overseeing a cross functional team of technology, marketing and product partners to deliver omni-channel journeys. The role will also be responsible for continuous optimization of processes, build and performance to support greater personalization and effectiveness **.** _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Transformational Delivery** – Lead the business setup of Salesforce Marketing Cloud workstream for Real-time engagement offers based on client purchasing and transactional behaviour. Provide highly specialized advice and consultation to technology and business partners to setup transformational changes to the direct marketing program. + **Strong Leadership**  – Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals that will work cross-functionally through agile rituals, collaborative workshops, and discovery sessions to ensure individual and business goals are achieved and/or exceeded. Lead direct team, product and marketing partners in strategic alignment, executional excellence, coaching and professional development. + **Strategic Thinking Approach** –Initiate continuous evolution of Digital Agile Sales methodology to incorporate new efficiencies, feedback and change management to ensure full adoption and synchronization across all cross-functional Agile Pods. As part of an internal agency, take responsibility for looking at campaign execution holistically – piecing together all the data, audiences and best-in-class marketing technology. + **Relationship Building and Partnerships  -** Develop and manage strong relationships with CIBC’s various teams, by working with the business and internal partners, with a strong understanding of the client needs and experiences across all channels. Explore internal & external partnership opportunities to expand CIBC’s digital banking and product offering with the objective of growing CIBC’s digital active client base and digital sales. Work closely with business partners to identify end-to-end digital client journey, influence roadmap development, as required and leverage data-driven insights to uncover opportunities to optimize the digital marketing funnel through incremental change. + **Subject Matter Expertise** – Provide solid understanding of digital industry trends including best-in-class marketing examples of leveraging a client first, omni-channel approach. Identify new applications of existing Digital marketing capability to support Enterprise partners with the objective of driving profitable revenue growth through digital marketing best practices   + **Push the Norm** – Motivated by moonshots, bringing fresh new ideas to the table and not afraid to push the norm across paid media, email, and digital-owned funnels within our measure and optimize culture. + **Process Improvement and Optimization** – Verify that the system accurately meets defined business expectations including overseeing user acceptance testing and confirming that performance requirements are achieved. Lead analytical and business impact assessments for input into business cases. Oversee improvements to existing business processes to increase campaign volume, efficiencies and effectiveness. Consult with stakeholders to optimize client journey trigger campaigns and develop business rules and automation.   **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate 7 to 9 years of work experience** in a strategic function in Marketing Technology (MarTech), Digital Marketing, and Performance Marketing preferably in financial services. + **You can demonstrate 7 to 9 years of work experience** in organization/project planning skills + **Your influence makes an impact. ** You know that relationships and networks are essential to success.
