**Job Description:**
**Position Summary**
This position is responsible for developing and executing strategies that leverage data to drive smarter business decisions and improved performance. This role ensures the shopper remains at the center of every decision and requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in retail analytics, shopper behavior, and market trends. The Insights & Analytics team will collaborate closely with key commercial partners—including OwnBrands, Pricing & Promotions, Loyalty & eCommerce, Innovation, Sales, Merchandising, Retail, and Banner teams—to support both retail and wholesale growth.
**Here's What You'll Do**
**Strategic Vision & Growth**
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive insights and analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies that drive performance.
**Insights**
+ Uncover shopper preferences, behaviors, and unmet needs to inform business strategies and enhance customer engagement.
+ Analyze shopper data to identify trends and opportunities for personalization, targeted marketing, and improved shopper experiences.
**Performance** **Measurement**
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, media investments, and new product/category launches, providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
+ Identify innovative ways to communicate the impact of insights and data on sales, customer engagement, and organizational performance.
**Team Leadership**
+ Lead and develop a team of analysts focused on delivering actionable insights and telling the story behind shopper-led trends.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement across the team and broader marketing organization.
**Additional Responsibilities**
+ Take on additional responsibilities as assigned or as the business needs evolve.
**Here's What You'll Need**
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematicsor a related field. An MBA is preferred.
+ Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
**Experience**
+ Minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics or a related field.
+ At least 5+ years in leadership roles, demonstratingexpertise in strategic planning and team leadership.
**Skills & Abilities**
+ Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proven ability to influence senior leadership and translate complex data into clear, and actionable insights.
+ Proficient in tools like SQL, Python, and PowerBI, with strong skills in data modeling, segmentationand performance measurement.
+ Ability to develop and scale data-driven marketing infrastructure to help teams determineour impact, build data pools for historic benchmarks, and define KPIs.
**Travel Requirements**
+ Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, up to 25% depending on business needs.

Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
