Job Description

Join Takeda as Director, Market Access Analytics.  Where you will lead a team responsible for performing complex data research and analysis to support business operations. This role focuses on supporting critical decisions related to pricing, payer strategy, distribution and reimbursement. This leader will also be responsible for developing and executing a roadmap to advance Takeda’s market access analytics capabilities. By applying knowledge of existing and emerging data analytics principles, this role informs business decisions and contributes to Takeda's mission.

How you will contribute:Lead market access analytics team for all USBU productsDevelop and execute market access analytics plans for USBU productsRecruit and develop talentLead clear articulation of data analysis and insightsCreate and execute vision for advancement of market access analytics to improve decision makingDevelop roadmap for future access analyticsMeet with vendors, other teams to ideate on impactful and insightful analytical initiativesExplore and pilot analytical initiatives that can later be incorporated into product level analyticsCollaborate across PAMA and USBU (e.g., patient services, accounts, commercial, brand, etc.) to uncover deep insights and develop recommendations as well as to align data best practices (e.g., appropriate vendors/sources, inputs, aggregation, repositories, etc.)Serve as strategic and analytical thought partner to MACS (Strategy and Business Case Analytics), PAMA and the broader USBUAct as representative for market access analytics to rest of USBUEnsure clear roles and responsibilities across PAMA and USBU analytical teamsLead enterprise analytical projects spanning across productsIdentify cross-BU project needs and executeExamples: External analog development, internal and external analog library, portfolio contracting, buy and bill reimbursement, payer spine.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree RequiredLeadership experience requiredApplies advanced data analysis and visualization techniques, capable of leading complex projects and mentoring others.Designs and executes models independently, providing insights for strategic decision-making.Applies knowledge of market access environment to guide strategic recommendationsDevelops and implements market segmentation strategies, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of customer data management.Creates impactful presentations to effectively communicate analytical insights, mentoring others in presentation skills.Utilizes economic theories to inform business strategies, applying knowledge independently in complex scenarios.Leads teams effectively, fostering collaboration and advising on team dynamics and conflict resolution.Manages customer data proficiently, applying predictive modeling techniques to forecast market trends.Skilled in using Tableau for complex data visualization tasks, with a strong ability to train others in its use.Demonstrates advanced influencing skills, coaching others to develop these capabilities.Guides strategic planning processes, aligning market intelligence activities with business goals.

For Location:

USA - MA - Virtual

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$174,500.00 - $274,230.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
