Job Summary:
The Director, Procurement Transformation (Ivalua) is responsible for planning, managing, executing and leading a team of staff in source-to-pay technology engagements, including business process documentation and optimization, system selection, design, configuration, testing, change management, user enablement, and post go-live support to meet client business needs. The position coordinates closely with BDO ERP, MRP, HRIS, and CLM solution teams on comprehensive technology solutions for BDO clients.
Job Duties:
Engagement Management:
Drives professional, exceptional, high quality client service Leads functional and technical response for RFx events and as part of client proposals, including providing S2P inputs for multi-system transformation opportunities Oversees planning and execution of requirement discovery, future state design, and testing sessions to enumerate client needs, and translate those into technical requirements and configuration recommendations Executes source-to-pay process improvements and organizational transformation activities as part of strategic transformations Manages user adoption and enablement of procurement and sourcing applications via change management and hypercare Defines client measures of success and ensure delivery against those objectives Identifies, grows, and maintains strategic relationships with client personnel and technology partners Serves as a high-level contact for clients regarding all questions and information for their transformation program, including progress, challenges encountered, issues identified, and business case tracking Directs multiple client engagements and underlying economics to ensure engagement metrics are achieved Fosters a positive demeanor, learning attitude and client service mentality with managers, seniors and staffBusiness Development:
Collaborates with practice leadership and BDO technology partners in identifying, pursuing and winning new business opportunities Assists with the expansion of Management Consulting service offerings Develops thought leadership for MC practice by developing whitepapers and presentations on topics relevant to clients and the profession Other duties as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:
Provides leadership and takes ownership of large projects from start to finish to ensure client satisfaction and to meet the project goals and objectives Communicates with BDO senior leadership and client management to meet budget and target dates Supervises the workload of Procurement Transformation team members on assigned engagements and reviews work product Ensures Procurement Transformation Managers, Senior Associates and Associates are trained on all relevant software, practice tools and processes Evaluates the performance of Procurement Transformation Managers, Senior Associates and Associates and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance professional development Acts as mentor to Procurement Transformation Managers, Senior Associates and Associates, as appropriateQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, required Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), preferredExperience:
Seven (7) or more years of experience with source-to-pay processes and eProcurement platform implementations, required Five (5) or more years of supervisory experience, required Hands-on configuration experience of Ivalua, required, and other S2P platforms, preferred Experience working within a national consulting organization, preferred Experience in client marketing and successfully managing multiple client pursuits and proposal efforts, preferred Experience with leading implementation of Source-to-Pay modules within leading ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Infor, Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics), preferred Experience with designing and piloting Generative AI or emerging AI-enabled procurement solutions, preferredLicense(s)/Certification(s)/Affiliation(s):

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $170,000 - $270,000
Maryland Range: $170,000 - $270,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $170,000 - $270,000
