Overview How You’ll Make an Impact As the Director of the Operations Command Center (OCC) at Epsilon, you will be at the forefront of ensuring operational excellence for our client and product platforms. Through leadership, we will drive innovation and stability, minimizing system downtime while rapidly resolving incidents. Responsibilities What You’ll Achieve Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative IT strategies for the Operations L1 team aligned with organizational goals. Lead OCC IT EI operations, optimizing processes, maintaining standards, and ensuring seamless partner engagement. Oversee daily critical issues and communicate effectively to minimize impacts. Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with security, regulatory, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC, PCI, HIPAA, ISO). Collaborate with technology, security, and business partners to maintain Epsilon standards and policies. Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, encouraging collaboration to align technology with business priorities. Provide technical expertise to translate strategic outcomes into tactical execution. Establish performance goals and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development for continuous improvement. Research and analyze industry trends to benchmark organizational performance. Be responsible for vendor relationships to secure cost-effective, high-value service agreements. Participate in team/manager on-call rotations. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications What you’ll bring with you: 10+ years in leading technology operations teams, with at least 5 in a leadership role. Deep technical hands-on background in at least one technical domain (Network, Sys Admin, Engineering, etc). Demonstrable experience as a hands-on technical leader in a technical operations role. Ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric outcomes. Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels. Demonstrable track record developing and implementing technology operations strategies, and service management frameworks using SRE and automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on operational excellence and automation. Ability to manage complexity and solve problems efficiently. Innovative mentality, continuously exploring new methodologies and technologies. Good knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS). Experience leading distributed teams providing 24/7 operational support. Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Strong knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Why you might stand out from other talent: Demonstrable experience leading the execution of technical projects (rolled out a tool, developed a system, etc. Experience working on physical servers and cloud-based system administration with command line/scripting experience. Experience Leading and Developing first level leaders who work hands on with their teams. Experience working effectively with technology, security, and business partners for multi-functional initiatives. Leadership in fast paced IT operations with 24/7 support for large-scale client and product platforms. Led transformational changes for improved operational efficiency via process optimization, automation, and innovative problem solving. Developed and implemented technology strategies aligned with business outcomes, fostering innovation and operational excellence. Demonstrable knowledge of modern technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance IT operations and client engagement.
