Join us! **RESPONSIBILITIES** **:** + Lead and support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for private equity and corporate clients in a broad range of sectors, such as buy and sell-side M&A, including cross-border transactions as well as capital markets processes including debt and equity offerings. + Drive preparation of materials for clients and participate in client meetings during the course of investment banking deal origination and execution. + Lead and maintain existing and develop new client relationships within the private equity sector. + Generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients across a broad range of sectors for private equity clients. + Oversee analysts and associates on client coverage, origination, and transaction execution teams. + Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements, and other documents related to investment banking transactions. + Lead client meetings with prospective buyers in sell-side M&A processes, including management presentations. + Lead internal transaction and capital commitment committee processes such as Fairness Committee, Equity Commitment Committee, and Leveraged Finance Committee. + Contribute to the development and implementation of a vision for the business based on commercial priorities. + Assess the identification and pursue investment, divestment, merger, and financing opportunities and evaluate potential targets, conduct market research, and have constant interactions with global industry bankers and clients. + Assess and mitigate risks associated with investment opportunities, including commodity price fluctuations, geopolitical factors, environmental regulations, and currency risk. + Conduct thorough industry and company-specific analyses, including LBO analysis, ability to pay analysis, discounted cash flows, valuation, accretion and dilution, IPO pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis. + Lead due diligence processes for investment banking transactions in a broad range of sectors, such as buy and sell-side M&A inclusive of cross-border transactions, as well as capital markets processes including debt and equity offerings. + Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. **REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE** **:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related: and + 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation. + Must include 8 years of experience in each of the following: + Assessing the identification and pursuit of investment, divestment, merger, and financing opportunities and evaluating potential targets, conducting market research, and having constant interactions with global industry bankers and clients; + Assessing and mitigating risks associated with investment opportunities, including commodity price fluctuations, geopolitical factors, environmental regulations and currency risk; + Conducting thorough industry and company-specific analyses, including LBO analysis, ability to pay analysis, discounted cash flows, valuation, accretion and dilution, IPO pro forma analysis, comparative company analysis, and sum of parts analysis; and, + Leading due diligence processes for investment banking transactions in a broad range of sectors, such as buy and sell-side M&A inclusive of cross-border transactions, as well as capital markets processes including debt and equity offerings. + The employer will accept 3 years of academic study towards a Bachelor’s degree in any field and 2 years of experience to meet the degree requirement. + 10% domestic travel, as necessary.
