Responsibilities: * Lead and oversee the creation and implementation of accounting policies related to investments, ensuring adherence to national and international accounting standards (GAAP and IFRS) * Manage the preparation and review of financial reports concerning investment activities * Work closely with other departments, finance, compliance, and risk management * Analyze investment performance data and prepare reports to provide insight to leadership * Ensure all regulatory compliance practices comply with industry standards * Identify and assess risks related to investment accounting and reporting * Train accounting team to ensure they are knowledgeable about current policies and practices in investment accounting * Communicate complex investment accounting topics to senior management and external auditors
