The Director, Integrated Supply Chain APAC has end to end functional accountability for order fulfillment for the APAC region and is a single point of contact for all operational activities. This includes direct line responsibility for Weir Minerals Australia and Weir Minerals Malaysia manufacturing, supply chain and distribution centres, and dotted line responsibility for China and India manufacturing, supply chain and distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Execution of order fulfilment including planning, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, logistics, quality (CoPQ), cost and productivity.
Effective and safe operations enabled by lean deployment, safety, health and environmental management, and inventory management.
Develop and define synergies within the region and implement execution plans.
Through advanced planning, lean and procurement methodologies (per global/divisional policies and standards), develop consistent processes to leverage leading practices for all ISC processes and metrics.
Enable high performance teams to increase functional/technical capability, expertise, and bench strength in the region.
Coach, develop, and provide performance feedback to the leaders and deploy robust governance, oversight, and assurance for top quartile performance and ISC as a competitive advantage.
Lead safety culture and all objectives and aligned activities to strive for a harm free operation and employee well-being.
Lead an operational environment protection culture and align all objectives to achieve environmental targets and no harm to the environment.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Experience in global supply chain, value stream design, logistics, fiscal regulations & optimization techniques.
Bachelor's degree with 15+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. BS in engineering/technical, supply chain or equivalent. MS/MBA preferred.
Knowledge of and experience in Lean, VAVE, DFM, DFT/DFX tools and implementation.
Substantial cycles of learning and experience in leveraging make/buy in low-cost economies.
Working knowledge of MRO/Service, OE, warehousing/distribution.
Understands business implications of decisions; displays orientation to profitability; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; aligns work with strategic goals; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
