The Human Resources (HR) Director will lead HR strategy and initiatives for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and China regions for Integra LifeSciences. The HR Director is a key member of the HR International team and a strategic business partner with senior leadership to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and enhancing employee engagement across all levels of the organization. This role will support our international business operations, partnering directly with regional business leaders to drive human capital strategies across both mature and growth markets, including China, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Korea, and Taiwan. The ideal candidate will bring a global mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and proven experience managing geographically dispersed HRBP teams in complex, fast-paced environments. This individual will play a critical role in enabling organizational growth, ensuring talent readiness, fostering a strong compliance culture, and driving operational excellence across the region. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Strategic Business Partnership** + Serve as the primary HR partner to regional business leaders, offering strategic guidance on organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement to meet long range planning priorities. + Translate global HR strategies into regionally relevant actions that support business goals in both mature and emerging markets. + Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, contributing to business decisions through a people-focused lens. **Team Leadership & Regional Oversight** + Lead and mentor a high-performing team of HR Business Partners across the APAC and China region. + Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, compliance and continuous improvement within the HRBP team and with HR center of excellence (COE) and shared services partners. + Ensure alignment and consistency in HR delivery across all supported countries with collaboration with global HR COEs and shared services. **Talent, Performance & Organizational Development** + Drive talent acquisition, development, performance, talent & succession planning, and retention initiatives tailored to local market dynamics and evolving needs of the business in close collaboration with the global HR teams. Enable leaders to assess capabilities gaps and talent strategies to meet long-range planning. + Implement global performance management systems that drive accountability and high performance in collaboration with our COE to ensure design is compliant with country labor requirements. Coach managers on effective performance evaluation techniques and goal setting. + Champion the Integra brand both internally and externally by developing and executing talent initiatives aligned with business priorities, while actively contributing proposals and insights at the regional and global levels to ensure cohesive, business-driven talent strategies. + Partner with talent management, talent acquisition, shared services, total rewards and other COEs to implement global programs regionally. **Operational HR Excellence** + Oversee compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and corporate policies across all countries in scope. Ensure the organization is addressing employee concerns and conflicts while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. + Actively contributes to the evolution of the global HR operating model through its regional and local implementation and adaptation. Champions the evolution of the model with the APAC HR organization, business leaders, managers and overall workforce. + Support organizational change initiatives and drive transformation projects related to M&A, restructuring, or new market entry. + Manage employee relations matters with a focus on risk mitigation, fairness, and business continuity. Foster a positive workplace culture through effective employee engagement initiatives. **Collaboration & Influence** + Actively engage with global HR peers to contribute to global initiatives, share best practices, and ensure consistency. + Collaborate closely with HR COE (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, talent management, legal & risk, etc.) to execute regionally tailored solutions. + Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a workforce that reflects our diverse customer base and fosters innovation. + Proactively leverages HR insights and analytics to design HR programs and assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and drive continuous improvement. Enable the business to make data driven decision making and HR talent strategies. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred. + Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience, Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent education and years of experience. + Minimum 10+ years leading through influence, minimum 3+ years of experience in directly managing multi-country HR teams. + Preferred hybrid on-site in Shanghai, China. Travel up to 30% required domestic and international. + Fluency in English required - reading, writing and spoken; additional languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean are preferred. + Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements. + Proven experience in driving change management. + Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Strong business acumen, cultural sensitivity, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. + Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills. + Ability to influence leaders in a matrix environment with strong interpersonal skills and effectiveness, strong coaching skills. Experience in US-headquartered multinational organization required. + Ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals + Strong project management skills, leading strategic HR initiatives + Experience with HR systems & tools, Workday preferred + Good judgment and ability to balance the needs of the company, managers and employees + Ability to demonstrate Integra values and an enterprise mindset. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** The physical requirements listed in this section include, but are not limited, to the motor/physical abilities and skills require of this position in order to successfully undertake the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.
