Director, Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources leads strategic HR initiatives across North American manufacturing and operations. As a key partner to the Operations leadership team, this role drives talent strategies, workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement. The Director also oversees plant-level HR teams, ensuring consistent execution of HR programs and labor strategies that support business goals. Additionally, the role contributes to broader HR initiatives within the Linear Motion division

The Linear Motion Division (LMD), encompassing the Thomson, Delevan, and Nook brands, is a major contributor to the Automation Motion Control Segment, with approximately 1,700 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 9 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, China, & Europe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement HR strategies to support the growth, efficiency and sustainability of manufacturing and operations across North AmericaAlign HR initiatives with business goals, ensuring operational excellenceStrong servant leadership skills and ability to thrive in results-oriented environment

Workforce Planning

Drives Regal Rexnord values and creates a culture of integrity, responsibility, diversity & inclusion, customer success, innovation with purpose, continuous improvement, performance and passion to win, all with a sense of urgencyConduct workforce planning based on the individual business unit’s strategy and leverage data and analytics to identify prioritiesLead workforce planning to meet production demands and long-term strategic goalsDevelops organizational design and restructuring plans to optimize resource allocation

Talent Management/Leadership Development/ Diversity & Inclusion:

Develops and leads talent management initiatives to establish robust pipeline of diverse leadership talentLeverage talent across the Operations functions to identify opportunities for developing leadership taken at the sites and across the region and global functionManages the talent review and succession planning process, provides expertise and guidance to the function’s leadership and HR teamsActively leads and participates in the talent acquisition of key functional positionsDemonstrates the use of 80/20 continuous improvement and to deliver results- aligned with the Segment and Enterprise HR strategy, including KPI’s with a sense of urgency

HR Operations:

Foster a positive workplace culture focused on safety, diversity and inclusionOversee HR operations across all manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent practicesProvide strong oversight on daily complex employee relations investigations to resolutionExperienced in integration, optimization and large projects able to leverage data in making recommendations and decisionsKey advisor and coach to business leadership and line management on appropriate HR practices and policies, ensures implementation and HR compliance Collaborate with operations leaders to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions

Other skills:

Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulationsExcellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence and lead across all levels of the organizationExperience managing both unionized and non-unionized workforces

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business-related field.Minimum 10 + years demonstrated successful HR experience preferably within a global industrial manufacturing environment. Plant level HR responsibility as well as multi-site responsibility highly preferredComfortable and ability to work effectively in fast -paced, metrics-driven environment. Adapts to rapidly changing dynamics and direction to adjust accordingly

Ability to travel up to 30%

Expected salary: $150,000 - $170,000 annually. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.
