The **Director, Head of Factory Operations** , **Europe** will oversee the operations of multiple production and assembly sites, managing a workforce of nearly 100 salaried and over 300 hourly employees This role is crucial in ensuring competence development within teams, fostering a strong team culture aligned with Danfoss values, driving delivery performance improvements for configure-to-order and project orders, and promoting a performance and continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization The successful candidate will also be responsible for the strategic footprint development for factory operations in Europe and driving technology development in alignment with the global manufacturing strategy The position reports to Head of Global Supply Chain and Operations. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. 1. **Team Culture:** Drive team culture aligned with Danfoss values, implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Standardize technologies in alignment with global manufacturing teams and implement quality excellence programs. 5. **Footprint Strategy and Development:** Lead strategic footprint development initiatives in Europe. Drive continued footprint developments globally to secure the most competitive global flows and setups. 6. **SAP Optimization / No-Touch Initiatives:** Ensure effective utilization of SAP systems for operational efficiency. Drive automation and process improvements to minimize manual interventions.
