As a Global SEO Director, you will support the team in increasing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and foster recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Global SEO team reporting to Vice President, Global Media, you will work on projects including setting overall SEO strategy for Hilton’s global website, leading the team and agency partners to execute organic search strategies across the portfolio to achieve customer acquisition goals and evangelize SEO standard methodologies internally across the global organization.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

\n

What your day-to-day will be like:

\n\nLead the overall strategy, vision, and voice for Hilton SEO, including owning all aspects of the SEO practice - budget management, agencies/vendor relationships, hiring, reporting performance and technical investments.\nLead and inspire a team and agency partners to deliver industry-leading SEO practices for a complex multi-brand global website.\nMonitor industry activities, trends – both inside and outside of the travel category – and develop benchmarking analyses.\nReview monthly program performance reports, analyze, and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders; make recommendations for key areas of improvement.\nLead the initiative to create a comprehensive AI optimization strategy for Hilton's global website. This involves leveraging AI tools to enhance search engine performance, automating technical SEO processes, and optimizing content creation to align with user intent and improve visibility in search engine result page\n\n

How you will collaborate with others:

\n\nWork with content marketing and digital product teams to provide SEO recommendations to deliver content that satisfies customer demand and experience.\nFoster relationships with external and internal partners, including media agencies, technology platforms, to ensure access to latest resources.\nCollaborate with internal regional and global stakeholders to align SEO strategy and roadmap efforts with broader marketing and loyalty initiatives and business objectives.\n\n

What projects you will take ownership of: 

\n\nExpand the local listings program that distributes our hotel properties’ information to online directories to increase revenue, grow brand awareness and improve the customer experience.\nManage technical SEO to identify ongoing risks and opportunities.\nDevelop and implement an AI-driven SEO strategy that includes AI indexing, technical enhancements, and content optimization to improve discoverability and engagement across Hilton's digital platforms.\n\n

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

\n

You have these minimum qualifications:

\n\nTen (10) years of work experience in Search Engine Optimization.\nTwo (2) years of experience leading teams of direct reports.\nExperience improving organic search performance for a large, global website.\nExperience analyzing SERP, media and site performance data (i.e. financial, statistical, and performance), with the experience to translate data into action.\nHybrid work schedule (in office 3 days/week)\nTravel up 30%.\n\n

It would be useful if you have:

\n\n\nExperience with social media, PPC, email, marketing automation and other digital marketing fields\nDemonstrated experience to leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance search engine performance and visibility.\nProficient experience working with a wide set of SEO-related tools and web analytics platforms such as Adobe and Google Analytics\n\n\n\n\n
