Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Director, Global Salesforce Effectiveness to join our J&J Vision team. This hybrid position can be located at one of the following J&J locations: Jacksonville, FL (preferred) or Irvine, CA or Dublin, Ireland.
**Position Summary**
The Director of Global Sales Force Effectiveness role will be essential for helping maximize the productivity and efficiency of our global sales teams in both Vision Care and Surgical Vision. This new global role will focus on sharing best practices, aligning our sales strategies with our business goals, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance sales performance, creating regional-relevant training and development programs while continuously improving our methods and processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Global Sales Strategy:** Apply advanced knowledge of innovative sales strategies and learning techniques to partner with regional sales teams. Strategic areas of focus to include Market Insight, Segmentation, Growth Priorities, Customer Experience Strategy, Value Strategy, Pricing Strategy and Leadership Alignment. (20%)
+ **Global Sales Force Design:** Work with regional sales teams to determine best in class structure, account assignments, sizing and allocation models along with general territory design for maximum impact. (20%)
+ **Customer Engagement Process:** Partner with regional sales force effectiveness teams to develop and implement customer engagement strategies that optimize sales performance across diverse markets. Areas of focus to include sales process and operating models, omnichannel orchestration, account planning, sales assets and enablers, CRM capabilities. (15%)
+ **People and Skills:** Partner with senior sales leaders and relevant regional stakeholders to define optimal sales performance measurements and performance management systems required to improve the organization’s competitive positioning. Areas of focus to include competency models, selection and hiring techniques, regionally relevant training and development, coaching and performance management. (15%)
+ **Global Sales Force Motivation:** Assess and recommend regional-specific metrics and dashboards, goals, incentive structures and recognition programs to help drive growth. Overall culture building tactics will be shared via translating success models and best practice sharing. (15%)
+ **Global Sales Operations:** Analyze emerging sales systems and innovative sales models by facilitating risk assessments and performing business impact analyses that inform key decisions. Examples include Analytics and AI, Lead Generation, Pricing and Contracting, Reporting and Administration, Platforms and Systems. (15%)
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum of bachelor’s degree is required. MBA preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience is required. Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
+ Sales experience is highly preferred.
+ Salesforce effectiveness experience is preferred.
+ Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to measure sales performance and effectiveness.
+ Deep understanding of sales processes and sales enablement.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and impactful manner.
+ Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of diverse market dynamics and cultural influences.
+ Up to 40% business travel, domestic and international, may be required.
