**Purpose:**
In this position, the Director, Global Real World Evidence, will lead strategy development and execution of industry-leading RWE capabilities and talent development across the J&J Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO). This individual will report directly to the Senior Director, Head of Global Real World Evidence for Oncology, and partner closely with RWE Researchers and Programmers in the GRWE Analytic Hub, to optimize our global go-to-market launch planning strategies through innovative and highly strategic decisions and investments using RWE.This individual will also manage key partnerships, collaborating closely with GCDS verticals as well as cross-functional and regional partners from Global Medical Affairs, Global Market Access, Global Marketing, Global Epidemiology, J&J Technology Data Sciences, Janssen R&D Data Science, reginal medical affair and evidence generation functions, and others.
**You will be responsible for:**
+ Leading the development of the global RWE strategy and execution of evidence generation initiatives, including formulating the research questions, writing study protocol, designing the study methods, analyzing the data, communicating the results, and publishing the findings, to support the medical adoption and drive product differentiation across the regions for key assets in the oncology portfolio.
+ Represent the GRWE team on assigned cross-functional franchise teams and build strong partnership with Global Medical Affairs, Global Market Access and other cross-functional Integrated Evidence Generation Planning (IEG) partners, co-create the RWE strategies.
+ Support the Head of Global RWE for Oncology on the RW data and evidence generation strategy budget planning.
+ Serve as functional subject matter expert on cross-functional teams, including regional teams, to ensure real-world evidence are well-understood, appropriately incorporated in the internal/external resources.
+ Identify and share best practices regarding methods of RWE studies. Further expand the internal J&J knowledge and capacity to use evolving methodologies in RWE studies, using various training approaches and best practice sharing.
+ Contribute to refining governance processes and contributing to local and global standards in methodologies.
+ Lead the coordination and execution of Evidence Lab to support RWE research concept development and stakeholder alignment through the World-wide IEGP process.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and commercial regulations in conducting research and disseminating scientific information.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
+ A Master’s degree in health economics and outcomes research,pharmaco epidemiology, health policy research, or related fields is required. A doctorate or other advanced degree is preferred.
+ A minimum of 6 years of experience in the pharma, HEOR consulting, or healthcare industry, preferably in health economics and outcomes research, epidemiology, real-world analytics, market access, or related functions.
+ Experience in executing projects using various types of real-world data, curating RWD via chart review, or conducting economic models is required. Experience in executing multi-region/country RWE studies is preferred.
+ Knowledge of global healthcare delivery and reimbursement and payor dynamics is desirable.
+ Strong communication, story-telling, and presentation skills that can communicate research concepts and statistical results to both technical and non- technical audiences are required.
+ This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent time management, multitasking skills, and intellectual curiosity.
+ Experience in working in a matrix team environment is required.
+ Requires knowledge of all common office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with the ability to master statistical analytics applications (SAS, R, Python,etc.).
**Other:**
+ The position is based in Raritan, NJ and will require up to 10% travel, mostly domestic.

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 and $276,000 USD.
