We provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities and uphold policies that create an inclusive and collaborative work environment. **Brief Job Overview** The Director, Global Priority Accounts will work in close partnership with the Chief Growth Officer and Head, Programs, Regional Operations and Strategy (PROpS), to develop and expand holistic, value-creating relationships between USP and top leadership at global biopharmaceutical manufacturers. They will identify priority accounts for enterprise engagement, analyze available information to develop a picture of their priorities and organizational points of contact, develop and tailor engagement strategies in close collaboration with colleagues across USP, shape communications on behalf of USP and the EVP to these stakeholders, and orchestrate rollout of integrated plans with the goal of increasing the visibility and value of USP to these stakeholders. To achieve these goals the Director, Global Priority Accounts will collaborate closely with USP’s Executive Team and CEO as well as colleagues across USP’s commercial, regulatory and communications functions (including but not limited to: regional leaders, global customer development, global regulatory affairs, and scientific teams). Through close work with these colleagues, as well as independent development of strategies and messages, they will ensure that USP is proactively and strategically engaging with these priority industry stakeholders in a manner that conveys USP full set of solutions and value. They will build the process, behaviors and culture within USP to ensure an integrated “best of USP” is routinely brought to these stakeholders, and, in doing so, help deepen the dialogue and collaboration on shared issues related to USP’s mission and strategy. The Director, Global Priority Accounts is also expected to generate and maintain external peer relationships and independently advocate for USP with critical contacts within relevant organizations. **How will YOU create impact here at USP?** As part of our mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. To advance their goal of partnering with the Chief Growth Officer to build broader and deeper relationships with top leaders in global biopharma industry, the Director, Global Priority Accounts has the following responsibilities: + [20%] Based on the commercial footprint, strategic industry development opportunities, the interest over the technological segment for USP and the donations pipeline, and in coordination with other customer and stakeholder leaders, develop a priority engagement list for USP to interact with C-suite level officials. + [30%] Build and lead execution of a strategy for establishing and extending relationships with key leaders in global industry (Global Priority Accounts), including assessment of current position, identification of individuals and opportunities to expand the relationship, “best of” coordination of USP resources, and shaping of key messages + [20%] Identify and arrange strategic engagement opportunities for the Chief Growth Officer and other USP leaders with C-suite, decision makers within Global Priority Accounts + [15%] Shape and align diverse industry-facing parts of USP to achieve this overall mission, including the development of process, capabilities and culture to do so sustainably and with increasing effectiveness + [15 %] In partnership with USP’s communications team and stakeholder engagement team, develop messaging communications for the Chief Growth Officer and other senior USP leaders targeting key stakeholders within Global Priority Accounts, including both individual communications as well as publications, social media, etc. in order to cultivate broader relationships **Who is USP Looking For?** The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience: + Advanced degree in Business, Science, Public Policy or other relevant field. + 5-7 years experience creating and directing comprehensive engagement strategies, as well as managing the customer, client, and/or stakeholder relationships in a related field + Ability to manage time across multiple assignments and customers including new business opportunities + Broad familiarity with global biopharmaceutical industry + Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in pharmaceutical, life science, or related + Demonstrated ability to craft highly effective written and oral communications + Demonstrated ability to build positive, collaborative professional relationships with diverse global colleagues and stakeholders + Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment **Additional Desired Preferences** + Experience in relevant / adjacent functions such as Key Accounts Management, Scientific or Medical Affairs, Business Development in a B2B industry or pharmaceuticals + Possess a robust network of established relationships and contacts within the industry, enabling them to leverage these connections effectively and quickly mobilize. **Supervisory Responsibilities** No direct supervisory responsibility. **Benefits** USP provides the benefits to protect yourself and your family today and tomorrow. Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
