Your New Role **:** The Director of Global Network Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Tier 2 network operations across a global infrastructure. This role involves strategic planning, exceptional leadership, and expert knowledge in network technology. The Director will ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of the network services and infrastructure while maintaining security and compliance standards. Your Role Accountabilities: **OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT** + Strategic Management and Leadership ( 4 0%) - Develop and implement strategic plans for global Tier 2 network operations that support the organizational goals. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing network operations team across multiple regions. Act as a primary liaison between senior management and different network operations teams. + Operations and Infrastructure Oversight ( 3 0%) - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the global network, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Manage and escalate issues related to network infrastructure and operations. Implement industry best-practices and standards in network architecture, development, and operations. + Budgeting and Resource Allocation (20%) - Develop and manage the annual budget for network operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization. Prioritize and allocate resources, including personnel and technology, to meet strategic objectives and operational needs. + Compliance and Risk Management (10%) - Ensure that all aspects of the network operations comply with international, federal, and state regulations and standards. Manage risk relating to network operations, including cybersecurity risks and disaster recovery planning. + Perform other duties as needed Qualifications & Experiences: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or a related field. + Master’s degree or MBA is preferred . + Minimum of 10 years experience in network operations or a similar role, with at least 5 years in a managerial or directorial capacity. + Proven experience managing large, complex, and geographically dispersed network infrastructures. + Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization, and development of high-level operational initiatives. + Strong leadership and decision-making skills . + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. + Superior communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management and staff. + Must participate in a management on-call rotation for out of hours support + Minimal travel anticipated for this position + Must have the legal right to work in India **How We Get Things Done…** This last bit is probably the most important!
