The Director, Global Data Transformation will be a part of the MT Digital and Data Strategy LT. The incumbent will be linked into the Transformation organization, a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 40+ major global MT ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data], and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. The role will have approx. 4 direct and an extended team of 10+ experts who will be accountable for the ERP Implementation. This role requires a hybrid skillset which includes a technical understanding of how data is technically used and stored by business systems as well as the business understanding of how that data can best be used to solve the business problems driving the program. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of requirements gathering, detailing the process and providing the systems implementation partner with the information needed to configure the system. As a MT SC Global Data Transformation Lead, you will combine business insights with technical expertise to drive data activities within transformation programmes. The Data Transformation Lead will be a core team members of various multi-year, highly complex, global programs that will transform our MT SC. The MT SC Global Data Transformation Lead will be an authority within ERP Deployments and coordinating and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping and transfer. Owning the quality of the migrated data and the validity of the migration processes and operation. This individual must demonstrate a refined, multi-functional toolset of technical, business expertise, ERP deployment, and digital competence to effectively interact with a breadth of busincollaboratorsders and global process owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage, operate and communicate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level. **Key Role Responsibilities** + Defining and executing strategies for data management, data migration, data analytics, and business intelligence. + Drive program leadership and strategy, manage end-to-end data activities and hands-on project delivery + Working with technical authorities to assess legacy data. + Planning and leading data migration and solution build activities to meet program schedules and business requirements. + Managing data teams in complex environments that include client staff, contractors, and system integrators. + Embrace the role of the servant leader who is passionate about team success and first to get in trenches to do the heavy lifting to drive outcomes + Coordinating between program workstream leads. + Providing regular status updates to senior collaborators. + Strong collaboration within MT SC, Finance, PLM, Commercial, R&D, Enterprise SC Data Governance leads to data integration. + Ensure key business impacts and requirements are understood, designed and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within program timelines and scope. + Support establishment and implementation of data program design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence. + Manage cross-program interdependencies for respective area of responsibility, by working with respective collaborators to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations. + Ensure quality delivery of team deliverables on time and within budget. + Develop and deliver program presentations and define appropriate communication through various channels to ensure onboarding across all levels + Drive the MT SC Data Strategy to enable MT digital transformation **Qualifications** + Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required + Requires At least 7 -10 years of experience in ERP SAP (JDE nice-to-have) and Supply Chain Data implementation projects across multi-national companies. + Requires Data Leadership role on at least 3 large-scale transformation initiatives + Requires a minimum of 5 years Expertise in industry leading practices for managing the data lifecycle, establishing data governance, defining data standards, managing data conversion activities, and establishing business intelligence/reporting capabilities + Requires a minimum of 3 years direct experience in applying project management and data management standard methodologies to create tactical execution plmulti-functionalnctional teams + Technical knowledge of database architecture, including how data is instantiated at the database level vs functional level, APIs, and technical error handling required + Experience working with multiple data management, data transformation, data migration, ETL tools (MDM Infomatica, Collibra, Talend, Syniti, SAP Master Governance MDG, Reltio, SAP BODS) required + Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex technical subject matter in all formats -required + High emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to build and lead highly effective diverse and multi-cultural teams to deliver insights, manage conflicts with diplomacy, and influence outcomes required + Good interpersonal and negotiating skills, with demonstrable ability touence/collaborate to get to desired result required + Expertise in creating executive communications and PMO status reporting required + Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex technical subject matter in call formats (email, presentations, Excel based) + Ability to effectively lead and govern multi-functional decision-making bodies required + Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates required + Skilled at engaging, briefing, influencing and building relationships with senior business collaborators required + Experience of motivating, monitoring and improving performance of internal and external collaborators in roles such as Data Owner and Data Steward - required + Exceptional business and digital competence, including ERP & workflow expertise required **Other** + The anticipated travel for this position is 20% + The anticipated pay for this position is $146,000.00 to $221,585.00 We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform crucial job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
