As a key technology leader working inside Global Communications, you’ll use communication insights to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product and engineering teams to develop and deliver a vision for a consumer-grade experience across owned corporate communication channels. You’ll enable best-in-class content delivery capabilities across a variety of digital mediums (web, native apps, email, digital screens). You’ll also drive technology optimizations within ancillary workstreams, including but not limited to Walmart corporate events, media relations, translation, search and analytics. Vision and Strategy
Develop and implement technology strategies that align with Global Communications objectives.
Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies, including their potential applications and benefits for Global Communications process efficiency and content delivery.
Co-develop and manage the Global Communications technology strategy roadmap, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and technology partners.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Transform communication goals into resonant, compelling narratives that result in short and long-term strategic plans and technology roadmaps.
Act as a product leader within Global Communications, identifying root problems and leading colleagues to strategic, holistic solutions.
Engage with senior leaders across Corporate Affairs, Global Tech and other business areas to align priorities and drive initiatives.
Technology Optimization and Innovation
Translate Global Communication objectives into inventive, tech-powered content experiences.
Drive continuous improvements in core communication technology processes and tools to enhance Global Communications’ efficiency and effectiveness.
Continually identify ways to deploy Generative AI for enhancing content creation, efficiency and engagement.
Talent Development and Leadership
Mentor and develop a high-performing team of content technology experts across a variety of specialties: engineering, UI/UX design, search and program management.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
What you’ll bring:
Experience:
10+ years of experience in communication or technology roles.
5+ years of supervisory experience.
In-depth knowledge of corporate operations, business strategy and financial and technology management.
Experience working for a large organization or Fortune 500 company in a communications, technology or otherwise adjacent leadership role.

Problem solving: strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex technology issues.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
